Nov 1,2,3: "Halloween Special" at Garden Spa Scrapping located in nearby Nipomo.  Since Halloween is on a Friday this year, they are offering a Saturday, Sunday, Monday Retreat for only $300 at this gorgeous house dedicated to pampering lady scrappers.  See the www.gardenspascrapping.com website for more info and calendar of other available dates.

Nov 6: "Make It Mini: Thankful Album" at JR Designs Studio, 7:00-9:00pm, $27 using new artesian album and Beautiful Life line...yummy again! One album completed in 2 hours. Nov 7: "Easy Photo Albums & Easy Card Making Class"  1:00-5:00pm at the LVCC @ 1501 East Ocean Ave with Sue C. Provides you with skills and techniques that are easy to learn and fun to do to create unique photo memory albums.  No fee or need to register.  Show up & have fun! Followed by:  "Creative Photo Album Making & Creative Card Making" from 6:00pm-10:00pm $10. Short demos, assistance in layouts and journaling & a sample card idea with materials for you to make at each sessin is provided.  Pre register through City Parks & Rec at 875-8100 or show up to class.

Nov 13: "Lavish Layouts Plus, SL-Royal Bliss" at JR Designs Studio 7:00-9:00pm, $25.  More prints from the Sassafras Lass that jsut make your pages go pop!  The "plus" is that those attending class wil lcreate card designs with class scraps. Crop Circles
Monthly: Kelly's "Stampers Card Club!" Meets once a month in the mornings &/or evenings the second or third Tuesday of the month.  Learn stamping techniques, make cards, etc.  Call Kelly at 734-0408 for more info. 
Monthly:  Friday Night Crop Club at Deni's Studio, generally the third Friday of the month, 6:30-11:30pm.  $10 includes refreshments or bring a friend for free (2-for-1).
Weekly: JR Designs "Weekly Crop" Thursdays, 9am-2pm $5. Contact Julie @ 922-2492
Weekly: Thursdays, "Global Hearts Group" 4:00-5:30 at the Chapel Annex on base. Contact TSgt White at 606-0039 for more info.
Monthly: FREE Cropholics Anonymous get-togethers on base for VAFB military, civilians, contractors and sponsored guests.

Other Information
Attention Beginners:  What to Bring To a Crop or Class
At minimum, please bring:
- good, sharp scissors   
- a group of pre-sorted photos
- paper trimmer          
- ruler
- tacky glue, tape runner & blue tabs          
- an acid-free black pen
- a few favorite photos
Bonus/optional items include:
- scrap paper
- corner rounder
- cutting mat
- circle cutter
- assorted embellishments (basic or to match the theme of the class) like: buttons, brads, ribbon, flowers, etc
- other adhesives
- your other favorite tools, like colored pens
* Most instructors have extra tools to share in class, but if you've got 'em, please bring 'em.

What is,"Early Bird Registration?"  Usually, that means that you get a bonus prize for advance registration and payment. 
On the flip side, if your other plans fall through, do contact the class instructor to see if there is room for a last minute registration.  You never know if someone else had to cancel.

LVCC = Lompoc Valley Community Center and it is located at 1501 East Ocean Avenue (next to where the new hospital is being built).

Sue Cook often has Friday afternoon AND evening classes on the same date.  YES you can sign-up for one OR both of the classes and take a dinner break in between.
